Signal One
A Sentidant AG Venture
Unified Service Agreement
Effective Date: 29 June 2026
This Unified Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is a comprehensive document that includes Signal One’s Terms of Service, Creator Terms, Privacy Policy, AI Policy and Cookies Policy. Signal One is operated by Sentidant AG (“Signal One”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By using Signal One’s products and services, including our website, mobile application and live event experiences (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to the terms and policies outlined below. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please discontinue use of the Services.
Terms of Service
1. Use of the Services.
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. You agree not to use the Services in any way that violates applicable law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, our servers, or other systems; circumvent access controls or purchase limits; or engage in any activity that could harm, disrupt, or interfere with the functioning or security of the Services or with any creator, moderator, or other user. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your access.
2. What Signal One Is
Signal One lets fans experience a creator’s live, real-time heart-rate signal and derived values (such as BPM, duration and a heartbeat trace) during defined moments of a live event. Signal One is provided for entertainment and emotional-connection purposes. It is not a medical device and provides no medical, psychological, or professional advice (see Disclaimers below).
3. Accounts and Security.
To access certain features you must create an account and provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or pose security risks. You must meet the minimum age requirements set out in the Privacy Policy.
4. Roles on the Platform.
The Services involve distinct roles: a Fan experiences a creator’s signal during purchased moments; a Creator chooses to broadcast their own live signal to fans (see Creator Terms); a Moderator is a person a creator trusts to manage the live experience, including opening and closing signal windows and triggering an emergency stop; and an Administrator operates the platform. Your rights and obligations depend on your role.
5. Purchases, Access and Scarcity.
Access to a live moment may be purchased at the price displayed, starting from the stated minimum. Spots per event are limited and access is a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to experience that specific moment during its live window. Once a live window closes it cannot be re-entered; the live experience is, by design, limited and unrepeatable. Prices, availability and limits are shown at the point of purchase.
6. Collected Moments.
After a live moment ends, a record of that moment (such as peak BPM, duration and the heartbeat trace) may be saved to your collection. A collected moment is a personal, non-commercial record of an experience you took part in. It is not a security, investment, financial instrument or tradable asset, is not currently resellable or transferable, and conveys no expectation of profit. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to your collected records; commercial reuse or resale requires our prior written permission.
7. Refunds and Consumer Rights.
Where you are a consumer, you may have statutory withdrawal or refund rights under applicable law; the specific terms applicable to a purchase are presented at checkout and are also subject to the rules of the app store through which you transact. Because access is to a time-limited live event, certain rights may be affected once the live moment has been delivered, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual Property.
All content and materials available through the Services, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, are the property of Sentidant AG or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our app and software solely in accordance with this Agreement. Creators retain rights in their own name, image and signal and licence them to us as described in the Creator Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works from the Services without our prior written consent.
9. User Submissions.
If you submit information, feedback, or content to us, you grant Sentidant AG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify and display that submission to the extent necessary to operate and improve the Services or respond to you. You represent that you hold the necessary rights to anything you submit and that it does not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful material. We may remove content that violates this Agreement.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty that the Services will meet your requirements, be compatible with all devices, or be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Important: heart-rate and derived values are provided for entertainment and connection only and are not medical, diagnostic, or fitness measurements; no advice or information obtained through the Services creates any warranty not expressly stated here.
11. Limitation of Liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sentidant AG and its officers, employees, agents, suppliers and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, the conduct or content of any third party, or any content obtained from the Services. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; there, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
12. Third-Party Services and Links.
The Services may integrate with third-party providers (such as cloud hosting, payment processors and app stores). These are provided for your convenience and do not imply our endorsement or control. We are not responsible for third-party materials or actions, and your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Changes to this Agreement.
We may update or modify this Agreement at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services. Changes are effective when posted unless stated otherwise. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance; if you do not agree, you should discontinue use.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If you are a consumer in the European Union or another market, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the company’s principal place of business unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before pursuing legal action, you agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any issue by contacting us.
15. Contact Us.

Creator Terms
These Creator Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service if you participate as a Creator. They govern how your live biometric signal is captured and broadcast to fans. They are summarized here; a separate Creator Agreement may set out commercial terms in full.
Biometric Broadcast Consent
As a Creator, you give explicit, informed and revocable consent for Signal One to capture your live heart rate and derived values during events you authorize, and to broadcast them to fans who have purchased access. You understand this is sensitive biometric data and that participation is voluntary. Your signal is broadcast only within windows that you, or a moderator you authorize, open, never continuously. You may withdraw consent at any time, including during a live event, in which case broadcasting stops immediately and the associated signal data is deleted.
Likeness and Publicity
You retain rights in your name, image and signal. You grant Sentidant AG a limited, revocable licence to use them solely to operate, deliver and store the moments you authorize, and not for unrelated advertising without your separate consent.
Likeness and Publicity
You retain rights in your name, image and signal. You grant Sentidant AG a limited, revocable licence to use them solely to operate, deliver and store the moments you authorize, and not for unrelated advertising without your separate consent.
Events, Moderators and Emergency Stop
  • You authorize each event individually and may appoint a moderator to manage live windows on your behalf.
  • You, your moderator, or an authorized Signal One operator may trigger an emergency stop at any time; the broadcast then ceases immediately and the action is logged.
  • You confirm that you hold any venue, league, or event permissions required to capture and broadcast your signal at a given event.
Revenue and Minors
Revenue share, payment schedules and reporting are set out in your separate Creator Agreement. If you are under 18 (or the applicable age of majority), you may participate only with verified parental or guardian consent, and a guardian must co-sign the Creator Agreement.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights. Sentidant AG is committed to handling your data in a transparent, secure and lawful manner, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and other applicable laws. By using the Services you acknowledge that your personal data (including, for creators, sensitive biometric data) will be processed as described, and where required, you consent to such processing.
Information We Collect
  • Creator biometric data: if you are a creator, our connected device captures your heart rate and derived values (such as BPM, duration and heartbeat trace) during events you authorize. This is sensitive biometric data, processed only with your explicit consent and broadcast only within windows you or your authorized moderator open.
  • Fan account and activity data: name, email, login credentials, profile, the events and moments you access or collect, and in-app activity.
  • Payment data: handled by PCI-compliant payment processors and the relevant app store; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device data: features used, screens viewed, diagnostics, device type, operating system, identifiers and IP address.
  • Location data: limited location data where needed for event availability and legal compliance.
How we use your information
  • To provide the services: to deliver live moments to fans who purchased access, to capture and broadcast a consenting creator’s signal within authorized windows, and to maintain your account and collection.
  • To improve and secure the Services: to operate, debug, analyze and improve the platform and to prevent fraud and abuse, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
  • To communicate with you: handled by PCI-compliant payment processors and the relevant app store; we do not store full card numbers.
  • To comply with legal obligations: including lawful requests and record-keeping.
We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Services); explicit consent (for creator biometric processing and for marketing); and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improvement), balanced against your rights. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
How We Share and Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal or biometric information. A creator’s signal is shown to fans who purchased access, with the creator’s consent. A fan’s own personal data is never broadcast to others as part of the core service. We share information only as follows:
  • With service providers: vetted processors (such as cloud hosting, payment processing and app stores) under contract, who may use the data only to provide services to us.
  • Within our corporate group: Signal One is a division of Sentidant AG; data is handled within the group consistent with this Policy and kept separate from other Sentidant AG ventures unless a separate lawful basis applies.
  • For legal compliance and protection: in response to valid legal requests, or to investigate and prevent harm, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, with equivalent protection and notice to you.
Data Storage, Security, Transfers and Retention
  • Security: biometric and personal data are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest; access is role-based and least-privilege.
  • Transfers: any transfer outside the EEA or Switzerland is protected by adequacy, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another valid mechanism, with a transfer risk assessment where required.
  • Retention: we keep data only as long as necessary. Raw signal is minimized to derived values; a creator’s signal is deleted promptly on consent withdrawal; collected moments are kept while your account is active or until you delete them; payment records are kept as legally required.
Your Rights and Choices
  • Access and portability: request a copy of your data in a commonly used format.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: request deletion of your data, including your collected moments; creators may withdraw consent to stop and delete their signal.
  • Restriction and objection: object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we may verify your identity first. EU, EEA and Swiss users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority (such as the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).
Children's Policy
The Services are not directed to children below the applicable minimum age (commonly 16 in the EU; lower where local law permits with appropriate consent). Creators who are minors require verified parental or guardian consent before any biometric broadcast.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact our Data Protection Officer at support@signal-1.com. Our EU representative, where appointed, is the founders of Sentidant AG.
AI Policy
This AI Policy explains how Signal One presents and uses any automated processing connected to the signal experience, and your responsibilities in using it.
  • What the signal is: Signal One transmits a measured physiological signal, the creator’s real heart rate and values derived from it. It is presented as a live signal, not as an algorithmic diagnosis of a person’s specific emotions.
  • No clinical or medical claims: the Services do not detect medical conditions, provide medical or psychological assessment, or offer professional advice. Heart-rate values are for entertainment and connection only.
  • EU AI Act alignment: we design and describe the Services to avoid presenting them as an emotion-recognition system that infers a subject’s emotions; any future feature involving emotional inference will undergo a data-protection assessment before release.
  • User responsibility: you remain responsible for how you use the experience. Do not use the Services in a way that distracts you during dangerous activities (such as driving).
If you believe you have encountered an AI-related issue, contact us at support@signal-1.com. We value feedback that helps us operate responsibly.
Cookies Policy
This Cookies Policy explains how Signal One uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and app and your choices regarding them. By using our website or app with cookies enabled, you consent to the use of cookies as described. You may disable non-essential cookies via your browser or device settings, though some features may not function properly without them.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use online services, allowing the service to remember your actions or preferences. Related technologies include web beacons, local storage and mobile SDKs; we refer to all of these as “cookies”. Cookies may be first-party or third-party, and session-based or persistent.
How we use cookies:
  • Essential cookies: necessary for the Services to function, including session, security and load-balancing; used by default and not requiring consent.
  • Preferences cookies: remember settings such as language or whether you have seen a tutorial.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand usage and performance in aggregate; treated as non-essential and used with consent where required (e.g., for EU users).
  • Functional and performance cookies: support additional features and measure performance.
  • Advertising cookies: Signal One does not host third-party ads or use advertising cookies, and does not share your data for advertising. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and seek consent.
Your Choices Regarding Cookies
Where required, we present a cookie consent banner on first visit allowing you to accept, decline, or manage non-essential cookies; you can change preferences at any time via our Cookie Settings. Most browsers also let you control or delete cookies, and your mobile device settings let you reset advertising identifiers or limit tracking. Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals, but you retain control through our consent tools.
Changes and Contact
If we make significant changes to our use of cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, seek consent again. The Effective Date above applies to this Cookies Policy. For cookie or privacy questions, contact us at support@signal-1.com.
Acknowledgement
By using Signal One’s Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Unified Service Agreement (Terms of Service, Creator Terms, Privacy Policy, AI Policy and Cookies Policy) and agree to be bound by its terms. We value your trust and are committed to protecting your data and privacy, operating responsibly, and giving you a real, consented way to feel the moment.
